It works as described, but my cats didn't really care for it. I think it's because the worm doesn't actually hide in the hole, when it pauses it's always mostly outside. They looked at it a lot but didn't actually play with it.
It was packaged in a box in a bag, the box was not sturdy and got very banged up. But the product itself was still functional.

Very cool idea but the item is very lout and it scared the cat away. So he won't come near it. So try to gradually introduce this toy and the sound it makes. The dog loved it though, but he just wants to rip it apart lol
